UNC, Yale partner to study effects of cocaine use on mother-infant relationships

(University of North Carolina School of Medicine) Researchers from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Yale University have been awarded almost $10 million to study the many ways cocaine use during can negatively affect interactions between and their infants.The project’s researchers hope their findings will aid the development of new intervention strategies for helping both and children, and prove valuable to others working in fields such as abuse and developmental disorders.
