FDA Staff Raises Concerns About NHL Drug

WASHINGTON (MedPage Today) — Reviewers from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) questioned whether pixantrone (Pixuvri) effectively treats non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) patients who haven’t responded to two prior chemotherapy treatments and said the drug has “substantial hematologic and cardiac toxicity.”
