Medicare Proposes New Anti-Fraud Measures

WASHINGTON (MedPage Today) — Medicare providers deemed at a “high risk” of defrauding the government could be fingerprinted and undergo background checks, according to new regulations proposed Monday by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
